Where is LUSA held?
Soccer programs are held at RavenTek Park in Leesburg, VA. Training will be on high quality turf fields. Academic and learning experiences take place at TPH Academy at Ion Training Center.
What is the calendar for LUSA?
August-June: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:00pm.

What is the annual tuition to attend LUSA?
Tuition is $19,500 per year.
Does LUSA offer financial aid?
In our first year of programming, financial aid will be quite limited. There is a separate application process reviewed by both LUSA and TPH to determine eligibility. If you believe financial aid will be necessary, we encourage you to begin that process early in the overall application process.
Does LUSA tuition include annual club soccer fees?
No. Participation in club soccer will be a separate fee. Players are free to participate in club soccer at the club of their choice. If a LUSA student athlete chooses to play for a Virginia Revolution SC club team, annual travel fees will be offered at a significant discount.

Who is TPH Academy?
TPH Academy is an academy-style, focused environment where dedicated student-athletes Study, Train and Play to their greatest potential. Our environment combines a proven, accredited, blended academic learning program with innovative, hands-on, sport-specific training and instruction. We at TPH believe in a holistic approach, and recognize that our greatest responsibility is to prepare our student-athletes for success in the ultimate game: the game of life.
Is TPH Academy an accredited program?
Yes, TPH Academy is a fully accredited college prep program. Our blended learning platform for academic excellence combines in-person learning guidance with the latest in educational technology and virtual academics. Learn more here.
Who will be responsible for teaching students at LUSA?
At TPH Academy, each student-athlete learns from certified Teachers through our customizable virtual platforms, with access to virtual tutors 24/7. Our on-site Head of Academics and Success Coach(es) are additional resources as they cultivate an environment conducive to learning. These multiple layers of support ensure that your student-athlete receives a personalized academic plan, preparing them for the ultimate game: the game of life.
How do you balance the student-athlete’s workload?
TPH Academy provides balance as we tailor our athletic and academic development model to each student-athlete. Much of the daily experience is shaped by when, where, and how your student-athlete studies, trains, and plays at his or her best.
Courses and assignments are customized for each individual and prioritized by the TPH academic team in partnership with the student-athlete, with their weekly sports and competition schedule in mind.
Additionally, we require our student-athletes to complete weekly surveys to help our staff understand their holistic well-being. These surveys track sleep, nutrition, injuries, and more to ensure we know how to balance each student-athlete’s workload.
Do you support IEP’s and 504’s?
TPH Academy is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment that sets every student-athlete up for success. We offer support for IEPs and 504 plans by utilizing adaptable learning spaces designed for diverse learners. To ensure we can fully meet a student’s specific requirements, we facilitate a determination meeting with our education partner to review individual needs and develop a tailored success plan.
SOCCER
How many hours per day will a player train?
Student-athletes will train for 75mins, Monday-Thursday before beginning their studies. Players will be available after school to train with their club team as scheduled.
Who will conduct the daily training sessions?
All of LUSA’s training sessions will be run by a team of highly credentialed and experienced coaches employed by Virgina Revolution SC.
How will players’ progress on the field be measured by LUSA?
Each player will receive an individual player development plan. Players will receive daily individual feedback from coaches and monthly progress reviews will be conducted with players and parents. Individual video analysis will be reviewed with players. There will be regular communication between LUSA coaches and the player’s club coaches to discuss progress.
Are LUSA students required to play club soccer with Virgina Revolution SC?
No. Student athletes can play with the club of their choice. Players who decide to play with VRSC will be offered a substantial discount on their annual travel fees.
